A. (Andrew) Miller BOAZ—R. A. (Andrew) Miller, 83 died at 10 a.m., Monday at the home of his son, Clifford Miller on Royal Avenue following a short illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the West side Baptist church with the Revs. Ralph Mathis and F. A. Dodd officiating. Burial was in the Red Applie Cemetery with Gllespie-Barksdale Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He is survived by six sons, Leo Miller, Alabama city; Otho and Clifford Miller, Boaz; Cephas and Elbert Miller, Boaz Route 5; and Eunice Miller, Yuma, Arizona; three daughters, Mrs. Zora Elder, Boaz Route 4; Mrs. Lorene Bryan, Hughes Springs, Tex.; Mrs. Flora Mae McCreless, Boaz Route 5 ; two brothers, Daniel Miller, Tyler, Tex.; Grady Miller, Portersville; 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A native of Georgia. Mr. Miller moved to Alabama at an early age, and lived most of his life in Marshall county. He was a member of the Free Holiness Church, and was a retired farmer.
