Milwee Published March 22, 1951 in The Boaz Leader Funeral services were held at Whitesboro Baptist Church on Thursday, March 15, at 2 p. m. for Mr. John P. Milwee, age 57, of Boaz Route one. Rev. George Gaskin conducted services with Fiquett-Brown Service directing. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ruby Leeth Milwee and one son, W. P. Milwee of Boaz Rt. 1; one granddaughter, Virginia Ann; 2 brothers, George Milwee od Nashville, and Tim and Billie of Montgomery; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Davis, Mrs. Docia Burns of Boaz, Mrs. Mattie Sibert of Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Flora Thomas of Loretta, Tenn.; his father, Rev. W. F. Milwee of Loretta, Tenn. Pallbearers were Hoyt Presley, E. P. Phillips, G. A. Wofford, Bervin Dukes, Marvin Smith and David Croft. Interment in church yard. Flowers were handled by friends under the direction of Mrs. J. Burns and Mrs. Carl Broom.
