Obituary from The Gadsden Times

MOORE, Charles Alvin, 73, 302 North 32nd St., Alabama City died in a local 
hospital today 2:50 a. m. after  an extended illness.  Survivors, sister, Mrs. 
Ethel Bowen, several nieces and nephews.  Services will be at Collier-Butler 
Chapel tomorrow 3:30 p. m. with Rev. David Heron officiating.  Burial, Alabama 
City Cemetery.  Active pallbearers, Pat Burger, Walton Hammett, Marvin McRae, 
Gene Humphries, Aubrey Horton, Lavon Sparks.  Mr. Moore was a native and life 
long resident of Etowah County and was a retired painter.  The body will remain 
at Collier-Butler Parlors through the hour of service.
