Mrs. Kate Elkins Noojin, 81 of Carlisle, passed away at 7:30 p. m. Wednesday, 
December 10th. At her home following a long illness.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon Friday at Carlisle Baptist Church of 
which she was a member with the Reverends Kress Davis, George Harris and 
Sanford Bright officiating.  Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with 
Gillespie-Barksdale directing.
Active pallbearers were Robert, Alford and Albert Collier, Cecil, Boris H. and 
J. B. Noojin.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Sadie Boone of Montgomery, Mrs. Bessie 
Shirley of Albertville, Mrs. Delia Daniel of Carlisle and Mrs. Doshia Glenn of 
Boaz Route 2; five sons, Arthur, General, George, Joe and Richard, all of Boaz 
Route 3; thirty-two grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren.
