Mrs. Matilda E. Owens

ALBERTVILLE—Mrs. Matilda Elizabeth Owens, 74, of Horton Route 2, died Saturday 
at 1 p.m., at her residence.

Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m., at Mr. Vernon Baptist church with 
the Revs. Roy Pledger and Sherman Trusell officiating. Burial was in the 
adjoining cemetery with Adams-Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by three sons, Herman Owens and Marvin Owens both of Horton 
Route 2, and Chester Owens, Albertville Route 2; three daughters, Miss Ethel 
Owens, and Miss Nancy Lilly Owens, both of Horton Route 2, and Mrs. Dealine 
Teal, Albertville route 4; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
