Published Thursday, August 17, 1967 The Boaz Leader
Funeral services for Franklin M. Price, 77, of Boaz Route 1, who died Sunday, 
August 13th at the Boaz-Albertville Hospital were held on Monday at the Sardis 
City Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Bryant officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Carr Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by the wife, Mrs. Susie King Price; four daughters, Mrs. Guy 
Hughes and Mrs. Sarah Edmondson of Boaz, Mrs. Louise Patton, Guntersville and 
Mrs. Mrs. Marie McCollum, Crossville; three sons, Carl, Joseph and John Price, 
all of Boaz; a brother, Pink Price, Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Mary Gilliland, 
Brawley, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Price was a native of Blount County, a farmer and a Basptist.
