Tuesday at his residence following a brief illness, were held on Wednesday at 3:00 p. m. at Pleasant Hill No. 1 Baptist Church with the Revs. Harvie Stewart, Sherman Trussell, Kress Davis and F. A. Dodd officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Gillespie-Barksdale Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers included Buddy Ladshaw, Kyle Lacey, Dwight Trammell, Jerry and George Kilpatrick, Jimmy “Mokie” Bradshaw, Dewayne Plunkett and James Bloodsworth. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Pullen; two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Holliday and Miss Dianne Pullen; two brothers, Michael and Tony Pullen; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Burns, all of Boaz; and a grandmother, Mrs. Mary D. Pullen, Boaz Rt. 3. Billy LaDon was a native and life-long resident of Boaz and attended Boaz High School.
