Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Crossville Methodist Church, with the Revs. V. L. Brice and Horace Whitfield officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Gillespie-Barksdale Funeral Home in change of arrangements. Active pallbearers will include Billy Brown, Clarence Massey, R. P. Harris, Willis Sutterfield, J. B. Green and Hulan White. Surviving are her husband, Delmas Roden; her daughter, Mrs. Arnold Harris; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ulas Low, Trenton, Ga., Mrs. Oledia McCurty, Fort Payne, Mrs. Betty Watson, Kentucky, four brothers, J. N. Low, Nashville, Tenn., Clinton Low, Birmingham, Newman Low, Crossville and Voad Low, Gadsden; two half-sisters, Mrs. Vera Nash and Mrs. Claudie Bishop, both of Gadsden; two stepbrothers, Homer and Harry Thacker, Cleveland, Ohio, and two grandchildren. A native of Georgia, Mrs. Roden had resided most of her life in DeKalb county ans was a member of Crossville Methodist Church. Additional Comments: Submitter not related.
