Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Sardis Baptis Church with the Rev. Roland Clemmons and Rev. Herman Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery with Gillespie-Barksdale directing. Active pallbearers were Mack Richardson, Hugh Richardson, Amos Richardson, Jim Richardson and Carl Camp. She is survived by her husband, W. W. “Uncle Waddie” Rosser; six sons, Homer Rosser of Calhoun, Ga., Hoyt and Rev. Ralph Rosser, Boaz, Troy Rosser of Chattanooga, Tenn., Claude Rosser of Breman, Ga.; two daughter, Mrs. Gladys Whitt, Boaz and Miss Clara Rosser, Sardis; twelve grandchildren; a brother, Eli Richardson, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Delle Hillburn, Madill, Okla. and Mrs. Onnie Halcome, Ft. Worth, Tex. A native of Cherokee County, Mrs. Rosser, Moved to the Sand Mountain area 46 years ago. She was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church. Additional Comments: Wife of Waddie Rosser.
