Caro Hubbard Walker
Published Thursday, December 5, 1963 in The Boaz Leader
Funeral services for Mrs. Caro Hubbard Walker, 82, of Route 3, Boaz, who died 
Tuesday at 11:20 a. m. at a local hospital, were to be held today, Thursday at 
an hour to be announced at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with the Revs. Dock 
Tidwell and John Hunt officiating.
Burial was to be in the adjoining cemetery with Carr-Brown Service Mortuary 
directing.
She is survived by a son, Houstus Walker, Shady Grove; four daughters, Mrs. 
Leona Robinson, Boaz, Mrs. Etta Roach, Sylacauga, Mrs. Elma Robinson and Mrs. 
Sadie Johnson, both of Boaz; a brother, Lee Hubbard, Boaz; two sisters, Mrs. 
Arrie Smith, Grant and Mrs. Noilia Poe, Altoona; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-
grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
