Published: March 23, 1956 Boaz Leader
     Mrs. Jessie Greer Wilson, 76, of Boaz, Route 5, died Thursday February 23, 
at 12:15 p.m. In Gadsden after a long illness.
     Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a. m. at the Aurora Methodist 
Church with the Rev. E. L. Brasher and Rev. Calvin Jones officiating.
     Active pallbearers were Ted Greer, Batty Ray Greer, Bill Greer, Ralph 
Greer, Harvey Thornhill and Lester Ethredge.
     She is survived by her husband, Romie Wilson; a brother, Dortch Greer, 
Altoona Route 3; and a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Wilson, Route 3, Boaz.
     She was a native of Talladega County and was a member of the Aurora 
Methodist Church.
     Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Gillespie-Barksdale directing.
