M'Laughlin-Mitchell
Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Alexander Mitchell, of Gadsden, Ala., announce the
engagement of their daughter, Myra, to Mr. Elwood McLaughlin, of Pensacola, Fla. 

This announcement will be of widespread interest to friends throughout the
State.  Miss Mitchell has numbers of warm friends in Montgomery, where she has
frequently visited as the guest of her sister, Mrs. Franklin Harper Elmore, Jr. 

Possessing much magnetism and charm of manner combined with a ready wit, she has
been much admired. 

Her father is one of the best known men in the State.  He is a banker in
Gadsden, and is a member of the Governor's staff.

Mrs. McLaughlin was formerly Miss Myra Mitchell and has many friends here. 

Mr. and Mrs. Edwood McLaughlin, whose marriage was recently celebrated in
Gadsden, Alabama, have arrived in Pensacola, where they are being
enthusiastically welcomed, especially among the young married set.
