Campbell - Land Pantent - Fayette County, Alabama Montgomery 09155 PATENT NUMBER 707366 } The United States Of America, To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Whereas there has been deposited in the General Land Office at Montogmery. Alabama has been deposited in the General Land Office, whereby it appears that, pursuant to the Act of Congress of May 20, 1862, " To secure Homestead to actual settlers on the public domain, " and the acts supplemental thereto, the claim of SAMUEL H. CAMPBELL has been established and duly consummated in conformily for the; Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section Twenty-Four in Township Fourteen South of Range Eleven West of the Huntsville Meridian, Alabama, containing Forty Acres. According to the Official Plat of the Survey of the said Lands, returned to the GENERAL LAND OFFICE by the SURVEYOR GENERAL. NOW KNOW YE, That there is therefore granted by the United States unto the said claimant the track of land above described: TO HAVE AND HOLD the said claimant and to his heirs and assigns of said claimant forever. Reserving, however, to the United States all coal in the lands so patented , and to it, or persons authorized by it, the right to prospect for mine, and remove coal from the same upon compliance with the condition of and subject to the limitations of the Act of June 22, 1910 ( 36 Stat., 583 ). IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I, Woodrow Wilson, President of the United States of America, I have caused these letters to be made PATENT, and the SEAL of the General Land Office to be hereunto affixed.
