Cumberland Co. NC, and around 1838 they moved into Henry Co. AL) 

GRIFFIN, Charlie Howard – b. June 19, 1883 – d. December 12, 1964 (Son of Daniel 
and Martha Wright Griffin, m: 1st Mary Caroline UNDERWOOD, 2nd Willie Mae LISENBY) 

GRIFFIN, Mary Caroline – b. September 27, 1886 – d. September 4, 1910 (Caroline was 
the first wife of Charlie Howard)

GRIFFIN, Willie Mae – b. March 9, 1893 – d. March 16, 1970 (Willie Mae Lisenby was 
the second wife of Charlie Howard)

GRIFFIN, Clevie – b. April 30, 1907 – d. September 2, 1908 (Daughter of Charlie 
Howard and Caroline Underwood Griffin, granddaughter of Daniel and Martha Wright 
Griffin)

GRIFFIN, Edwin – b. August 1, 1923 – d. May 16, 1985 (Son of Charlie Howard and 
Willie Mae Lisenby Griffin, grandson of Daniel and Martha Griffin. He married Joyce 
CHAMBERS)
