C. Daughtry, now deceased, bargained, in writing, and sold to W. E. Fowler the following described lands, to-wit: The SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 Section 8, and the E 1/2 of SW 1/4 of Section 5, and the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 8, all in Township 3, Range 25, then in Dale but now in Houston County, Alabama and at and for the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) in three (3) payments, as follows: One Hundred thirty-three and 33/100 Dollars ($133.33) on the first day of October 1901, the same amount on the first day of October 1902, and the same amount on the first day of October 1903 and whereas the said A. C. Daughtry, the person who executed said contract of sale has since died before executing a conveyance to said land to said W. E. Fowler the pursually qualified and acting administrator of the estate of said A. C. Daughtry, deceased; and whereas the said W. E. Fowler has compiled in full with the terms of his said purchase of said lands, and has paid in full the total amount of purchase price which he agreed by the terms of said contract of sale to pay for said lands: Now, therefore, in consideration of the premises and of the said full payment of said purchase price of said lands, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, I, said J. W. Daughtry, as the administrator of the estate of said A. C. Daughtry, deceased, now acting in the capacity of such administrator, do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said W. E. Fowler, his heirs and assigns, all the right, title and interest which the said A. C. Daughtry at the time of his death had and held in and to the said lands hereinabove described. To have and to hold the same unto the said W. E. Fowler, his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. In testimony whereof I as said administrator have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the 30th day of September 1903. J. W. Daughtry (LS) Administrator Attest: W. H. Daughtry, whose name is signed to the foregoing conveyance, and, who is known to me, acknowledged before me on this day that, being informed of the contents of the conveyance, he executed the same as the administrator of the estate of A. C. Daughtry, deceased, voluntarily on the day the same bears date. Witness this the 30th day of September 1903. J. W.
