Fowler ==================================================================== March 1999 Obit of Jimmy Reeves Owen - Geneva Co., AL The Dothan Eagle, Tuesday, August 8, 1995 Jimmy Reeves Owen GENEVA - Jimmy Reeves Owen, 42, of 808 W. Hendrix Ave., Geneva, died Sunday morning, July 9, 1995, in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center from injuries received in an industrial accident at his work. Memorial services were held Wednesday, July 12, at 2 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Hwy. 52 East, Geneva, with Mr. John Mason, minister of Jehovah's Witnesses, officiating. Burial followed in the Traveler's Rest Cemetery in Samson with Meadowlawn Funeral Home of Hartford directing. Mr. Owen was a native and life-long resident of Geneva. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a broadcaster on WGEA radio for over 17 years. He was employed with Utility Trailers in Enterprise for the past eight years. He was preceded in death by mother, Mrs. Ruby Lee Reeves Owen. Survivors include his wife, Sharen Owen, Geneva; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and Tommy Davis, Hartford; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Amanda Owen, Enterprise, and Keith and Patti Owen, Geneva; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Owen, Marl Community; three grandchildren, Joy, Michael and Katie; several nieces and nephews.
