Mrs. Rigdon, of Slocomb, Ala., Geneva Co., died Jan. 3, 1968. She was the daughter of Primitive Baptists, and her grandfather was a minister and Clerk of the Association. Funeral services were conducted by Elder J. J. Collins and Mr. George Scarborough at Pleasant Hill [Baptist] Church, Slocumb, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Rigdon is survived by her husband, six brothers, and one sister. – J. J. Collins Additional Comments: Note: Mrs. Rigdon’s tombstone shows that she was born 1905. She was the daughter of William E. and Emma Adams Clark, per records at ancestry.com, and her surviving husband was Sidney P. Rigdon.
