The cemetery is located on the west side of what is now 
Hwy 181 just north of Eutaw, AL in Greene County.  The 
current Bambarger farm is 4 miles south and east of the 
cemetery.  The Alabama county map lists a "Hick Cemetery" 
at approximately this location.

                                                                  the tombstone of 57 yrs, 2 months, and 3 
                                                                  days.
Upchurch      James         Franklin      5/7/1844    11/8/1852   Tombstone stated he was the son of John 
                                                                  and A.J. Upchurch
Upchurch      Nancy         D.            3/29/1859   9/22/1868   Tombstone states that she was the 
                                                                  daughter of John and A.J. Upchurch
Richardson    Sally         M.            8/3/1773    10/10/1813  Tombstone states she was the daughter of 
                                                                  Thomas Coleman of Lunenburg Co. VA.
Fortson       Newton        Jasper        8/21/1842   12/1/1843   Tombstone states he was the son of 
                                                                  Elizabeth and Elijah S. Fortson
Hicks         Polley                      8/1802      8/27/1842   Tombstone states she was the wife of T. 
                                                                  Hicks and was about 40 yrs old.



Additional Comments:
The tombstones of John Upchurch, Sally M. Richardson, and Newton Jasper 
Fortson had very long epitaphs with wonderful language.
