I, Elijah More, of Green County, State of Ala, Farmer, do make, ordain, and declare this instrument, which is written by my express order and signed by own name to be my last will and testament, revoking all others- Imprimus-All my debts of which there are but few, and none of magnitude, are to be punctually paid. Item. To my dearly beloved wife Lucinda More I give and bequeath one half of my real and personal property to be hers in fee simple forever. Item. To my daughter, Joseph Ann, I give and bequeath, the other half of my real and personal property in fee simple to be hers forever. Item. All notes or money which I may have on hand shall be equally divided between my wife, Lucinda More, and my daughter Joseph Ann More. Item. It is my request that my body be buried in a decent stile and the funeral expenses be paid before the aforesaid division shall be made. Lastly, I constitute and appoint my dearly beloved wife Lucinda More, my Father in law Benjamin Boulton and Jason C. Scears, William Harkiness, Executrix and Executors of this my last will and testament. It is my express will that my property be equally divided between my wife and child as above named by my executors in as equitable a manner as they may deem jUHL and right.
