Here is what I have: A will was filed in the office of Probate Judge of Greene County, AL His body and other bodies of his family lie in Presbyterian Cemetery (Pleasant Hill) Green Co., AL William Hinton took the title of Colonel, as many did who had money andpower. He married his second cousin, Lydia Hinton (the daughter of Isaac Hinton) of Johnston Co., NC. Lydia is believed to be buried in Johnston Co., NC. He purchased land both in Greene and Pickens Counties located on the Sipsey River.
