Ward, Daniel died 18 Feb 1875
Daniel died testate. The will was witnessed by Thomas L Granberry, W.H. 
Granberry and Pheraby A Braxton (Braxton was deceased by the time of Daniel's 
death).
Petitioner for probate was Mary A. Ward

- widow Nancy A Ward (probably should be Mary A)
Children: (papers state "children" ... not heirs ... "children")
- Daniel 11 yrs old
- John D who preceeded him in death
... John D's children - Lafayette, Thomas, Joseph 17 & John Daniel 15(record 
states that Joseph & John Daniel at the time of Daniel's death were living in 
Lee County with Johnson W Rice)
- Catherine Ward Hodges (marr to Joseph Hodges)
- Sarah Ward Culpepper (marr to Joseph Culpepper)
- Thomas
- David who preceeded him in death
...David's child Thurmond
- Eliza Ward Edwards (marr to William Edwards)
- Eliza Ward married a man named Thurmond and had a child named ____________ 
Thurmond who now lives in Texas
- Ann Ward Wadkins (marr to Jasper Wadkins) residence unknown
- Adeline Ward Goheagan who preceeded him in death
...Adeline's son Anderson Goheagan
- Joseph who preceeded him in death

Additional Comments:
I have this record taken directly from Henry County Orphans Court records 
(probate records) but am unsure exactly which Daniel Ward this is. Would like 
to hear from any direct descendent of this Daniel Ward to help me determine 
which Daniel Ward this is. There are so many Daniel Wards. 
NOTE:
In the 1870 census, the deceased Daniel is living in Henry County, Abbeville, 
house 59, family 59:
Daniel 78 yrs old born SC
Mary 50 yrs old born GA
Charles 14 yrs old born ALA
Daniel 5 yrs old born ALA
Unable to find for-certain this Daniel in the 1860 census. ANY HELP FROM 
SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THIS DANIEL WARD is greatly appreciated.
