Mary Rhydonia Farmer was born Sept. 19, 1852 in Shorterville, Henry Co., AL, 
and died Oct. 30, 1944 in Albany, GA.  She is buried in the Whatley family plot 
in New Park Cemetery, Ft. Gaines, GA.  She was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson 
Farmer and Jane Gilmore Farmer of Henry Co.  She married Michael Augustus 
Whatley in Henry Co. on Oct. 28,1869.  They had ten children all born in Henry 
Co.
