H. Daughtry and Nellie Daughtry for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred and twelve 50/100 Dollars ($312.50) in hand paid by T. C. Lee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have this day bargained, sold, enfeoffed, conveyed and do by these presents, bargain, sell, enfeoff and convey unto the said T. C. Lee the following described tract or parcel of land viz: SE 1/4 of NE 1/4, E 1/2 of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 and NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 Section 7, Township 3, Range 25, containing one hundred (100) acres more or less. Situated, lying and being in the County of Dale and State of Alabama. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said T. C. Lee, his executors, administrators, heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple. And we hereby covenant with the said T. C. Lee that we are seized in fee of the aforegranted premises. Have a good right to sell and convey the same; and we do hereby warrant the title to the aforegranted premises, and agree forever to defend the same from the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever. Windham, a Justice of the Peace for said County, hereby certify that A. O. Daughtry, a subscribing witness to the aforegoing conveyance known to me, appeared before me on this day and being sworn stated that M. H. Daughtry and Nellie Daughtry the grantors in the conveyance voluntarily executed the same in his presence, and in the presence of the other subscribing witness on the day the same bears date. That he attested the same in the presence of the grantors and of the other witness subscribed his name as a witness in his presence. Given under my hand this 14th day of February 1891. W. P.
