A. Lee and J. H. Lee, for and in consideration of Three Hundred DOLLARS (($300.00) to us in hand paid by Dora U. Jones, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, enfeoff, and confirm, and convey unto the said Dora U. Jones and her heirs the following described real estate, lying in the County of Houston, State of Alabama, to-wit: Commencing where the Newton and Campbellton road crosses the Wicksburg and Dothan Road. The starting point being where the sign board now stands and running east 24 yards, thence north 25 yards, thence west 24 yards, thence south 25 yards to starting point. Said land being a part of the NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 17, Township 3, Range 25. To have and to hold the aforesaid premises to the said Dora U. Jones, her heirs and assigns forever. And we do covenant with the said Dora U. Jones, her heirs and assigns, that we are lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted premises; that it is free from all incumbrances; that we have a good right to sell and convey the same to the said Dora U. Jones, her heirs and assigns; and that we will warrant and defend the premises to the said. In witness whereof, we, the said R. A. Lee and J. H. McCoy, a Justice of the Peace in and for said County, hereby certify that R. A. Lee and J. H. Lee, whose names are signed to the foregoing conveyance, and who are known to me, acknowledge before me this day that, being informed of the contents of the conveyance, they executed the same voluntarily, on the day the same bears date.
