Fowler ==================================================================== March 1999 The Dothan Eagle, Friday, February 25, 1994 Johnnie Merle Andrews, 66, of 2895 Westgate Parkway, died Tuesday, November 22, 1994, at her residence following a long illness. The funeral will be 10 a.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Revs. Travis Free and Bobby Dungan officiating. Burial will be in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P. O. Box 2127, Dothan, Alabama 36302. Mrs. Andrews was born May 27, 1928, in Dale County and lived the early years of her life in the Jellico Community. She lived in Midland City for several years prior to moving to Dothan in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Andews was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Annie Mae Drew Lee; a brother, C. W. Lee; and a sister, Mervine Lane. Survivors include her husband, Z. R. "Andy" Andrews, Dothan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Rhoda Andrews, Donald and Dorcas Andrews, all of Dothan; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry Hubbard, Dothan; a brother, Fletcher Lee, Marianna; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Charles Swain, Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren, LaMonte Hubbard, Lori Phillips, Andy Andrews and Troy Andrews; a great-grandchild, Tyler Phillips, several nieces and nephews also survive.
