Fowler ==================================================================== March 1999 The Dothan Eagle, Thursday, May 25, 1978 Mrs. Annie Mae Benton Lee, 67, Newton Rt. 1, died Wednesday afternoon at her home following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Piney Grove Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Buddy Hood and S. P. Bostic, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward-Wilson Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the funeral home until one hour prior to funeral time when it will be placed in the church. A native of Dale County, she moved to Houston County at an early age and had lived in the Wicksburg Community most of her lifetime. Survivors include her husband, Clarence Lee, Newton Rt. 1; two sons, Donald Lee, Texas, Wayne Lee, Marietta, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Glenda Waddle, Newton Rt. 1; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Upton, Dothan Rt. 1, Mrs. Onyx Burdeshaw, Slocomb, Mrs. Festus Walden, Daleville, Rt. 1; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
