Fowler ==================================================================== March 1999 The Dothan Eagle, Thursday, December 28, 1995 REHOBETH - John Robert Lee, 60, of 199 Barbara Lee Road, Dothan (Rehobeth), died Tuesday, December 26, 1995, at Flowers Hospital after a long illness. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. today at Byrd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery (in the Jellico Community) with Byrd Funeral Home directing. Mr. Lee was born April 23, 1935, in Houston County and moved to Michigan at an early age. He was employed with General Motors for 29 years prior to his retirement in 1981. He returned to the Dothan and resided here the remainder of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade Lee and Lonie Smith Lee; three sisters, Nettie Baum, Lura T. Bishop and Jean Lassiter; and a son, Ronald Lee, who died in 1981. Survivors include his wife, Judith A. Lee, Dothan (Rehobeth); two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald and Maria Lee, Rehobeth, and John Lee, Lansing, Mich.; four brothers, Hubert Lee, Hasting, Mich., Fred Lee, Dothan, Delnor Lee and Wayne Lee, both of Rehobeth; a sister, Melba French, Charlotte, Mich.; three grandchildren, Robby and Bethany Lee, Rehobeth, Jessica Lee, Michigan; several nieces and nephews also survive.
