Fowler ==================================================================== March 1999 The Dothan Eagle, Tuesday, March 28, 1995 Mary Etta Lee, 91, a resident of Extendicare Health Center, died there Monday, March 27, 1995, following a short illness. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pilgrim Home Baptist Church with the Revs. Buddy Hood and Orin Barrett officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight and at other times will be at 408 Donna Drive. Mrs. Lee was born February 4, 1904, in Houston County and resided most of her life in the Wicksburg area. She lived in Dothan for the past three years. She was a homemaker, the widow of Alford Tim Lee and a member of Pilgrim Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Lee and a daughter, Ruby Clyde Lee Hess. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Myrl Lee, Roy and Mary Lee, Grady and Sue Lee, all of Dothan; a son-in-law, Gordon Hess, Bridgeport, W. Va.; two sisters, Vera King, Hartford, Gladys Hubbard, Wicksburg; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Serving as active pallbearers will be Mrs. Lee's grandsons, grandsons-in-law and great-grandsons. (Full name: Mary Etta Thomley Lee. Widow of Alford Tim Lee. He is buried at Winslette Chapel Methodist Church in the Jellico Community, Houston County, Alabama.)
