Floyd Cherry of Ashford officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Fellows & Forrester directing. Surviving are two sons, B.S. Shelley of Donalsonville, Ga, and Billy E Shelley of Pansey route one; six daughters, Mrs. Annie Morris, Mrs. E.R. Cook, Mrs. W.A. Stevens, Mrs. P.C. Croom and Miss Fannie Shelley, all of Pansey route one and Mrs. C.O. Locke of Chattahoochie, FL. Pallbearers were Jeff Brown, Leslie Eubanks, Robert Brown, C.A. Ingram, R.B. Jones and R.B. Etheridge. Additional Comments: According to Henry Co AL Marriage Records Donia was a nickname, the records shows her name to be Margaret C [Caldonia] Jordan, dau/of Henry & Mary Jane Jordan. She married William {Bill} Shelley on Feb 29,1880 in Henry Co AL son of Reuben & Rebecca {Hodges} Shelley Jr. She had been widowed for 34 years. Her son Billy E was my Granddad.
