Benjamin Ennett Napier, born 7 Oct 1850 in Wilkinson Co., GA, married Julia 
Ann Hughes, born 25 Nov 1857 in Dale Co., AL.  They moved from Abbeville to 
the Piney Grove Community south of Dothan and lived near Piney Grove Methodist 
Church.  This family photo was made in 1906 and shows 9 of the 14 children 
born to then. 

L-R Front row:  Stella (1889-1963), B. E., Jr. (1902-1976), B. E., Sr. (1850-
1927), Dewey (1898-1975), Julia (1857-1918), Rosa (1882-1971).

L-R Back row:  Ruth (1896-1982), Leona (1894-1958), John (1885-1966), Ruby 
(1887-1955), Dovie (1892-1958).

Not shown:  Theophilus Walton Napier (Mar 1879 - Apr 1879)and four married 
daughters, Josephine Lucinda (1872-1910), Laura Frances (1874-1954), Christian 
Theodosia (1876-1954), and Daisy Belle (1880-1956).
