ALGenWeb File Manager - Lygia Dawkins Cutts ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Contributed by Jane Nichols ren@HiWAAY.net April 1999 This cemetery is located off Co. Rd. 53 on a private hunting club. The only way to get to it is on a four-wheeler. It is very close to the Knight Cemetery. There are many, many rocks with no writing on them and A couple with unreadable writing. It is in a beautiful location with one of the prettiest sceneries I have ever seen. This was the only rock we could make out part of the name and date: Elizabeth (couldn't read the last name) The only date readable was 9-14-1864; I don't know if it is the birth or death date. This is where my 3rd great grandparents, James Madison Bean, Sr. and Hollie Virginia Jane Swearingen Bean are buried in the area of their 160 acre farm. It is said that other members of the Bean and Sanders family are buried here also. Transcribed by RANDY & JANE NICHOLS APRIL 2, 1999.
