Berry & Wife } To }Power of Attorney T.C. Hall } Know all men by these presents that we W.C. Berry and Sarah E. Berry his wife of the County of Searcy and State of Arkansas have made constituted and appointed and by these presents do make constitute and appoint T.C. Hall of the County of Jackson and State of Ala. our true and lawful attorney for us and in our names place and stead to bargain sell grant and convey all our right title claim and interest to the following described real estate situate in the County of Jackson and State of Alabama that is the SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 2 T4 R4 East containing 40 acres also twenty rods in width and eight rods in length off of the south side or end of the NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 2 T4 R 4 East also twenty rods in width and eight rods in length off of the south side of NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 Section 2 T 4 R 4 East and the SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 2 T 4 R 4 East making in all 100 acres. Giving and granting unto our said attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in and about the premises as full to all intents and purposes as we might or could do if personally present with full power of substitution and revocation hereby ratifying and confirming all that our said attorney or his substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue hereof. Berry and Sarah E. Berry his wife who are personally known to me to be the same persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing Power of Attorney as parties thereto and acknowledged that they executed the same for the uses and purposes herein mentioned.
