McCormick & Sinthey E. McCormick his wife of the county of Green and State of Missouri of the one part and Abram Gross of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Joseph R. McCormick and Synthey E. McCormick his wife for and in consid- eration of the sum of two hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has this day bargained sold aliened enfeoffed & conveyed hereby those presents do hereby sell alien enfeoff and convey unto the said Abraham Gross the following discribed tracts or parcels of land lying and being in the County of Jackson and State of Alabama towit the South West fourth of the North East fourth of section twenty nine of township five & range five east also the South East fourth of the North West fourth in the same section, township, & range in the district of land subject of sales at Huntsville Alabama containing eighty acres & 102 ... according to the plot of Survey. To have and to hold the above discribed tract or parcels of land with the tenements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said Abraham Gross his heirs and assigns forever and the said Joseph R. McCormick Sinthy E. his wife for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators do covenant that they will warrant & forever defend the title to the above discribed hereby granted tracts or parcels of land and each of them unto the said Abraham Gross his heirs and assigns from & against them the said Joseph R.
