Anniston Star
Thomas Morrison formerly of Delta, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home 
at Pisgah on Sand Mountain. He was 70 years old and a retired farmer. Mr. 
Morrison was the father of P. G. Morrison of this city. Funeral services will be 
conducted Sunday afternoon o'clock at Pisgah. Mr. Morrison's survivors include 
the widow Jincy Character-Morrison, a son P.G. of Anniston, three daughters, Mrs. 
Obra Wright and Mrs. Rada Thompson of Pisgah and Mrs. Leola Hester of Rome, Ga.; 
four brothers Johnny, Bill and Gilford, all of Delta, and Dave Morrison, Fort 
Payne; and three sisters Mrs. Etta Laney of Rosa Lee Ala., Mrs. Samantha Taylor 
of Flatrock and Mrs. Bertha Duke of Delta.

He is buried in Pisgah Cemetery, Jackson County, AL.
