A. Arlie Maddox was born in Randolph County Alabama on Oct 25, 1896, the son of 
Stephen Whitfield Maddox and Idora Halpin.

He married Cora Neal in Randolph County and the couple had three sons. He later 
married Maggie R. Wortham who was from Jackson County Alabama. 

Arlie Maddox died on Aug 6, 1992, he and his second wife Maggie are buried in 
the Pisgah City Cemetery
