These three graves are in an iron fense Approximately 15ft x 30ft. Hughes, Vada A. Jan 20, 1893 Jan 1, 1894 Little Sister is now at Rest Hughes, Pleasant Jul 14, 1847 Jul 21, 1893 Papa is Gone but not forgotten Hughes, Ophelia Jan 29, 1855 Jan 3, 1889 (Could not read inscription) Directly behind these graves to the northwest outside the fences. There is a row of 6 graves. Graves 1, 2, 3, and 6 are stacked at least 2 feet high with flat stones. Graves 4 & 5 are marked only with mossy rock driven in the ground. Graves 2 and 3 are the only ones with marked tombstones in this group. They are as follows Hughes, George W. Jul 10, 1813 Aug 30, 1890 Hughes, Mary Aug 31, 1817 Dec 15, 1883 Wife of G. W. Hughes At the end of this row (to the southwest) was another fenced area approx 10ft x 15ft. In this area was the following: Hughes, T. J. Apr 17, 1836 Dec 12, 1907 The Lord doeth all things well A Confederate Soldier Hughes, Matthew Jun 10, 1840 Aug 11, 1916 Nothing in my hand I bring simply to thy cross I cling 3rd grave marked on with mossy stones at head. To the NW and behind the row with George and Mary was another row of 4 graves.
