C. Eubank Final Settlement Made 16th Mch 1871 -------------------- State of Alabama ) Jefferson County ) Before me, Jno C. Morrow, Judge of the Probate Court of said County, personally appeared W. C. Eubank, Administrator de bonis non, cum testamento annexo of the estate of George Ware deceased, who being duly sworn, makes oath that the foregoing account current is a full and correct statement of all his dealings and transactions, and of all moneys and effects received and paid out by him on account of said estate, and that he has not used any of the funds of said estate for his own benefit. Crawford, aged over 21 years, residing in Dallas Co Ark P. O. Calhoun; Nancy Dickinson wife of James Dickinson, aged over 21 years, residing in Dallas Co Ark P. O. Calhoun; Zadoc Ware, aged over 21 years, residing in Hempstead Co Ark P. O. Centreville; Polly Wood wife of William Wood, aged over 21 years, residing in Dallas Co Ark P. O. Calhoun; Jeptha M. Ware, aged over 21 years, residing in Jefferson County Ala; Mrs. M. E. Ware wife of John Ware deceased, aged over 21 years, residing in Jefferson County Ala; The children of John Ware deceased who was a son of decedent (viz) Clementine Rockett wife of R. M. Rockett. Samuel Ware. Over 21 years. Zadoc Ware. Ruth Ware and John Ware, over 14 years and under twenty-one years who reside with their [mother] M. E. Ware in this county. All of whom reside in this county. The children of Elizabeth Abernathey deceased, a daughter of decedent, wife while living of Starling Abernathey, whose residence is in Dallas Co Arkansas, P. O. Calhoun. Names, ages, and residence of those children are unknown. The children of Amanda deceased, formerly Amanda Ware, child of said George Ware, whose first husband was S. H. Wood, whose second husband is unknown. Children's names are as follows: George. Ruthie Ann Wood and John Wood. 2 other's names unknown. The ages, residences, and guardians of any are unknown. Ware -------------- Additional Comments: George Ware died 1841, left a will (that I can't find) leaving wife Ruth everything during her lifetime. She died in 1869, at which time both their estates were administered, land and personal property sold, and shares distributed to heirs.
