DICKINSON to WARE

"This Indenture made and entered into this thirteenth day of February 1836 
between James Dickinson of the County of Jefferson and State of Alabama of the 
one part and Zadoc Ware of the other part, Witnesseth: that the said James 
Dickinson, for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred dollars to him 
in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted, 
bargained, sold & conveyed and doth by these presents grant, bargain, sell and 
convey unto the said Zadoc Ware the following described tract of land (viz, 
the West half of the North West quarter of Section nineteen in Township 
eighteen of Range three West, in the District of lands subject to sale at 
Tuscaloosa,
To have and to hold to the said Zadoc Ware said above described land and 
hereby granted premises together with the tenements and appurtenances 
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, his heirs and assigns 
forever.  And the said James Dickinson doth warrant and will forever defend 
the title of said land to said Zadock(their addition of a 'k') Ware, his heirs 
and assigns, from and against the claim of himself and all other persons 
whomsoever, and against the claim of the General Government.
    In testimony whereof the said James Dickinson hath hereunto set his hand & 
affixed his seal the date above written.

The State of Alabama)  Personally appeared before me
Jefferson County    )  Baylis E. Grace Clerk of the
County Court of said County James Dickinson maker of the within deed who 
acknowledged that he signed, sealed and delivered the same to the within named 
Zadoc Ware, on the day and year therein mentioned.
           Given under my hand and seal this

The State of Alabama)
Jefferson County    )  Be it remembered that on the 13th day of February A.D. 
1836 the foregoing deed certified as above was received in my office for 
record and on the 16th day of March in the same year duly recorded in Deed 
Book Volume (?) page 419.
