Sadler of the County of Jefferson and State of Alabama of the first part and John Ware of the same County and State aforesaid of the second part, Witness; That whereas the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath this [day] bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell, enfeoff and convey unto the said John Ware, his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain tract or parcel of land known and distinguished as the W ½ of the SE ¼ of Section ninteen Township Eighteen and Range Three West in the Tuscaloosa Land District, To have and to hold to the said John Ware, his heirs and assigns forever, together with all the rights privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. And the first party for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators, do and by these presents will forever warrant [and] defend the title from himself, his heirs and from all and every person or persons whomsoever.
