Civil War Service Record
Born 1827 in Blount County, enlisted on 24 Sept 1863 in Elyton, Al by Captain 
Gantt as a Private.  Muster Roll dated 31 Dec 1863 by T. K. Truss.  He was 
killed while serving in 1864.  Where is unknown.  He is buried in Clay, 
Jefferson County, Alabama.
