C. Boner in Felonies Court on a murder charge filed against her after the fatal stabbing Nov. 10 of her husband at their home. Louis Merkl, 59, 1200 Third Street, Pratt City, who is also charged with the slaying of Beck, waived preliminary hearing and was held for the Grand Jury under $2,000 bond. Mrs. Beck did not testify at yesterday's hearing. Police Officer C. A. Vildibill testified that Mrs. Beck told him that she had stabbed her husband with a pocket knife. Merkl, the officer quoted Mrs. Beck as saying, was at the Beck home at the time but had no part in the fatal stabbing. Officer Vildibill futher testified that Beck, in a statement made before his death at a local hospital, told him that his wife had cut him with a hatchet and that Merkl had stabbed him with a knife.
