Charles Argo, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Argo, of Randolph, Ala., was fatally injured in an automobile accident in Monroe, La. Services will be held Monday. Sgt. Argo and his cousin, Pvt. Rufus Argo, were riding in an automobile driven by another man when the accident occurred about eight miles west of Monroe. All three were taken to a Monroe hospital where Sgt. Argo died next day and Pvt. Argo was dismissed after treatment. Former Concord, Ala. school student, Sgt. Argo enlisted with his cousin Nov. 25, 1940, and was in the infantry as technician. He is survived by his parents, three brothers and six sisters. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Oakley, Ala., and burial was in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery.
