Deaths
ARGO--Lidge T. Argo, age 52, of 1211 10th Ave., S., passed away at a local
infirmary Thursday p.m.  Survived by the widow, Mrs. Lila ARGO; step-mother,
Mrs. Mimmer Hill; 2 sons, James L ARGO, Garvis ARGO; 1 daughter, Mrs. Bertha Mae
HAWKINS; 6 brothers, Eddie, W. C., O. J., M.E., G.F., L.F.ARGO; 5 step-sons,
Earl, Tommie, Edward, James, Harold DARBY; 3 half-sisters, Mrs. Lottie PATTON,
Mrs. Ellie CHAPPELL and Miss Pearl ARGO; several grandchildren.  Funeral
services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday from Ridout's Chapel, Dr. Morse
officiating.  Interment Elmwood.  Ridout's Brown-Service directing.


Additional Comments:
Lidge Thomas Argo is the son of Elbert Elisha ARGO and Martha Amanda NIX.  His
brothers were Eddie William ARGO, Walter C ARGO, Oscar Jady ARGO, Elbert Myrtle
ARGO and Grady Franklin ARGO.

After the death of Lidge's mother, his father married Jemima G NIX (Mimmer), his
mother's sister.  Half siblings from that marriage were brother, Lonnie Foster
ARGO, and sisters, Essie, Lottie Mae, Annie L, Ellie G and Minnie Pearl.  Two
siblings predeceased him, sister Nellie and half brother Ocie B ARGO.
