Birmingham News, June 19, 1930
ARGO--Mrs. Mary Alice ARGO, age 35, and infant, Bessemer, Route 1, passed away
at a local infirmary Wednesday afternoon.  She is survived by her husband; one
daughter, Gertie May; two sons, James Lee and Willie Garvis.  Her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. J. A. Smith, of Montevallo, Ala.; four sisters and four brothers. 
Remains will be sent to Montevallo Friday afternoon on Southern for services and
interment by Echols and Angwin.
