Ballard-Jesse C. Ballard, age 53, of 8425 9th Ave., S., passed away Thursday
p.m. at the residence.  He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Elma Ballard, one 
son, Pfc. William C. Ballard U. S. Marines; 2 grandaughters, Elma Lou and
Frances Jo Ballard.  Funeral Services will be held from West Woodlawn
Methodist Church, Sunday 2 p.m.  Rev. J. T. Carlton officiating.  Interment
Forest Hill Cemetery.  Active pallbearers R. J. Hendrix, W. J. Fulgham, H. D.
Lammond, F. A. Stewart, R. L. Hallmark, J. R. Carroll, Vice Directing.
