Mrs. Curry was the beautiful Bettie Hammond, daughter of the late Judge Hammond, and was beloved and admired for her loveliness of character as well as her personal charms. In her home, she was the gentle, loving and energetic wife and mother, and to her sister’s motherless children, was as sympathetic and tender as a mother. Her husband, Capt. B. J. Curry, her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Dyas, and son, Mr. Hammond Curry, have sustained an irreparable loss. May our Heavenly Father in his great mercy comfort them.
