HAWKINS - John Welton Hawkins, age 54, of 5310 Acadia Terrace, Fairfield, 
passed away Tuesday.  Survived by one daughter, Mrs. E. J. Layton, of Detroit, 
Mich., one sister, Mrs. George Borole of Lakeland, Fla., one brother, Hobert W. 
Hawkins of B'ham.  Funeral services Friday 10:30 a.m. from Johns Chapel.  The 
Rev. Conrad L. Stayton officiating.  Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.  Active 
pallbearers Tom Howard, Ed Gilmore, Hugh L. Foster, E. O. Darrough, A. C. Hazen 
and O. A. Miller.  Johns Directing.
