D. Keane, aged 65 years, for a long time boss painter at the Louisville and Nashville railroad shops, died suddenly at the Birmingham Infirmary at 2 o’clock this morning. Mr. Keane had been ill for several days, and night before last an operation was performed on him. He survived yesterday and died this morning. The deceased leaves a wife but no children. He was one of the best known and most universally popular man in railroad circles in Birmingham. His funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon.
