The Georgia Enterprise, September 3, 1891
THROUGH DIXIE, NEWS OF THE SOUTH BRIEFLY PARAGRAPHED

     At a  family picnic at Blossburg, Ala., Wednesday, Misses SALLIE and 
CLAUDIA MARSON, of Birmingham, aged seventeen and fifteen, respectively, were 
drowned while bathing. The elder got beyond her depth and the younger went to 
her relief. Neither could swim, and they drowned in each other’s arms.
