"The Birmingham News" (on microfilm), dated 29 October 1912. Mrs. Mary Holt. MONTGOMERY. Oct 29 Mrs. Mary Augusta Holt died after an illness of some length Monday, October 28. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Carnot Bellinger, who come to Alabama and settled in Montgomery county in 1834. She was born at their plantation home, Prairie Hill, in this county, July 2, 1837, and had spent all her days in Montgomery city and county. She was married to Edward R. Holt, who died November 2, 1904, April 2 1857.
